DAY 1
Hanoi – Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Lung Tam – Yen Minh – Dong Van
Leave Hanoi early in the morning by private vehicle and travel north toward Ha Giang. As the city disappears behind you, the landscape gradually changes into green valleys, forested hills and increasingly dramatic limestone mountains.
After arriving in Ha Giang, meet your local Jeep driver and women-led tour team. From here, the real mountain journey begins.
Drive through Bac Sum Pass toward Quan Ba, one of the first great viewpoints on the Ha Giang Loop. At Heaven Gate, the mountains open into a vast valley surrounded by steep limestone peaks. This is a perfect introduction to the landscapes that define Ha Giang.
Continue toward Lung Tam, a traditional mountain community where you can see a quieter side of local life away from the main tourist route. The journey then follows winding roads through Yen Minh, with changing scenery of pine forests, terraced fields, valleys and scattered villages.
In the afternoon, continue deeper into the Dong Van Karst Plateau. Visit the Hmong King Palace, the former residence of the Vuong family and one of the most interesting historical sites in the region.
Continue to Dong Van Town and check into your private room. In the evening, enjoy dinner and have time to walk around the old town, relax at a local café or simply enjoy the peaceful mountain atmosphere.

DAY 2
Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng – Meo Vac – Yen Minh – Ha Giang – Hanoi
Wake up in the mountains and begin the second day with breakfast before continuing along the legendary Happiness Road.
The highlight of the morning is Ma Pi Leng Pass, widely regarded as one of the most spectacular mountain roads in Vietnam. The Jeep climbs above enormous limestone cliffs, revealing deep valleys and dramatic mountain ridges stretching toward the horizon.
Stop at selected viewpoints along the pass to enjoy the scenery and photograph the Nho Que River far below. Traveling by open-air Jeep makes this section particularly enjoyable, with wide views and fresh mountain air throughout the journey.
Continue to Meo Vac before turning back toward Ha Giang. The return route offers a completely different rhythm from the previous day, passing through remote valleys, mountain villages and terraced farmland.
Stop for lunch along the way before continuing through Yen Minh and Quan Ba. As the mountains gradually become lower, the landscape changes again and the road eventually brings you back to Ha Giang City.
From Ha Giang, relax in your private vehicle for the journey back to Hanoi.
